Beginning Woodcarving
In this four-session class, students will learn the fundamental techniques of woodcarving, including an introduction to the types of wood best suited for carving. Designed for beginners and those with some prior experience, this course offers an opportunity to develop skills and create wood-carved objects in a supportive learning environment.
Participants are required to provide their own cut-resistant glove and carving knife. Recommended products will be included in the course confirmation email. The instructor will have a limited number of tools available for use during the first class session only.
A $5 materials fee (cash only) is due to the instructor at the start of the first class. Additional materials will be available for purchase at a low cost for use in subsequent sessions.
