You will need: One 16-inch circular needle, size 7 (4.5 mm) or 8 (5.0 mm). 2) a set of double pointed needles (dpn's), size 7 (4.5 mm) or 8 (5.0 mm). How do you know which size to get? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design your own wooden sun catcher frame using colorful crushed glass pieces to create a unique pattern and style. Create a one-of-a-kind mosaic photo frame or decorative sign using colorful glass pieces and your own creativity. All cutting is completed ahead of time, making this a fun and approachable project for beginners. Choose from designs such as welcome signs, house numbers, the state of Minnesota, flowers, or your own ideas. The first session focuses on designing and creating your project, and the second session covers grouting and finishing techniques. You’ll also learn about glass cutting, mosaic resources, and other mosaic styles. Supply fees are paid directly to the instructor at the first class. Connect with your creative side in this no-experience-required art class with Jeremy Ross of Your Bearded Artist, who will guide you step-by-step through hand-knitting your own soft, cozy chunky blanket. No needles or knitting experience are needed, and all supplies are included. Each participant receives 140 yards (5 skeins) of size 7 chunky yarn (100% polyester) in a variety of colors to create a finished blanket measuring approximately 40 x 50 inches.

Bonsai is an ancient all encompassing art form which has been passed down form generation to generation. You too can have and appreciate the history, art and mystique of this ancient craft. This two part class will provide you with a tree and the opportunity to create your own bonsai, and aid you with the information and knowledge to care for your tree. Receive your tree the first week and find the base and front of the tree. Second week, return with your tree, and focuses on repotting and additional wiring cleaning. $50 material fee paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
