In these polarizing times, how can we have meaningful exchanges with people we may not know very well? How can we be better listeners in the process? Join us for a story circle, a structured discussion that encourages deep listening with the goal of cultivating community across differences of opinions and life experiences.

Dr. Lee Fisher has been an educator for two decades and has worked with teachers and students of all ages around the state. Dr. Jasmine Tang is a facilitator, writing coach, and administrator in higher education. Lee and Jasmine formerly collaborated as leaders of the Minnesota Writing Project, a K-16 literacy education program and local site of the National Writing Project that ran from 1990 to 2025.
