Batik on Paper
For all levels of experience. Learn to give the unique appearance of Batik fabric to paper, using a wax resist process. Bring your creative ideas to life using Cray-Pas, chalk and India Ink on watercolor (or sturdy mixed media) paper.
Supply list will be sent with course confirmation, or bring $15 cash the first night to purchase from the instructor.

Instructor
Cid Skaalrud is an experienced facilitator: retired Adjunct Asst. Professor of Fine Arts & Humanities and Director of Life Enrichment in Senior Housing. She has a MA in Human Development with a focus on creative process. Her favorite engagement is creating art or music with people of varying abilities, with the intention of learning and sharing joy.
Currently, she is facilitating watercolor and other art programs, as well as creative direction of an award winning jug band. She has lived in SLP with her husband and pooches for over 30 years.
