Nordic Pole Walking
Nordic walking is fun, easy to learn, and a great activity to share with friends. By adding poles, you turn everyday walking into a full-body workout. Walking with poles improves stability and balance, increases your heart rate 12 to 20 beats per minute above your normal pace, and can help you burn 20 to 40 percent more calories for weight management. It also offers stress relief and a chance to get outdoors and reconnect with nature.
Change up your walking routine and learn proper Nordic walking techniques in this introductory class. The instructor will cover basic pole use and walking form. Poles will be provided during class. Please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
