Middle School Micro C Club (LED/OLED Games)
LED/OLED Games
Session 1: Fortune Teller Game
Students will use the concept or randomization to program the behavior of their own game. They may choose the secret Arduino code to outguess friends and family or load an unguessable sketch. This fun project will be sent home with each student.
Session 2: Two Player Pong Game
Students will put together their game, then use incrementation to program a light based challenge game. Students may take home their games to enjoy friendly battles.
Session 3: Follow-the pattern Memory Game
Students will assemble a memory game. Then, adjust programming statements to customize their own individual game. For example, by adding sound. Every student may take their game home to improve memory, or just have fun challenging others.
Session 4: Catch a Falling Star Game with Sound
Students will use digital counting (zero is a number) and case structure to program Smart LEDs. They are welcome to customize their toys and take them home to "catch" as many stars in a row as possible. This game makes a fun challenge against others. Who can catch the most stars without resetting the game?
