Middle School Urban Debate Team
Join our Urban Debate Team! The debate team is where you can use your voice, embrace your power, and learn how to make the change you want to see in the world.
Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesday's after school beginning on Wednesday, October 7th.
This is a team and we will participate in tournaments against other schools throughout the season, beginning in January. We participate in 3 all-team tournaments in our conference, and then select teams of 2 debaters will represent SLPMS in the City Championship, against all Metro Middle School Urban Debate teams in March.
This is a free program!
Purchase a team shirt to wear to tournaments for $20. There will be other opportunities to pay for the shirt, if you don't want to pay when registering.
