Grab your family and step into a world of magic, monsters, and imagination! In this beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons workshop, families will create their own characters, explore mysterious lands, and work together to complete exciting quests. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and sense of adventure! Children who register must be in grades 3rd and above. Family pricing covers up to three participants ($35), with a $10 fee for each additional person. All participants must be registered to attend. Family pricing must complete the attached question.

Join YEP for spring family fishing at Lamplighter Pond on Saturday, May 23rd from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Fish together as a family and enjoy time outdoors! Bring your own fishing rod or borrow one from us. Bait and snacks will be provided. This event is free, but please register each individual who will be attending.

Join us for a fun-filled archery experience where both adults & children can learn and enjoy the art of archery together! In this unique class, each child participant must have at least one accompanying adult (or each adult with have at least one accompanying child). All equipment provided. Please register each person individually. Children must be at least 7 years of age.

Join us on a family nature walk at Westwood Hills Nature Center. Led by a naturalist, we will walk through Westwood and learn about the marsh, woods and restored prairie, and we may even see deer, fox, mink, and owls! Participants should meet at the front of the building prior to each walk. This is an inclusive walk and all are welcome!

Juneteenth Family Movie Night: Soul Celebrate Juneteenth with a family-friendly movie night featuring Disney and Pixar’s Soul. This heartfelt and uplifting film explores purpose, passion, and the beauty of everyday life through music and storytelling. Families are invited to gather in the Little Theater at Lenox Community Center on Monday, June 15 from 6:00 - 7:30pm. Registration required; free snacks while supplies last.

Join YEP as we "Roll Into Summer"! Kick off the summer season with a community rollerblading event on Friday, June 5th from 4:30–6:30 PM! Join us inside the middle school gymnasium for music, movement, and lots of skating fun. A limited number of skates (sizes 6–12) will be available to borrow. Families are also welcome to bring their own skates—please note that personal skates must be used outside in the parking lot to help keep the gym floor safe. All skill levels welcome! An adult must remain with their registered child(ren) for the entire duration of the event.
