In this beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons workshop, families will create their own characters, explore mysterious lands, and work together to complete exciting quests. Family Nature WalkFamily ProgrammingJoin us on a family nature walk at Westwood Hills Nature Center. Led by a naturalist, we will walk through Westwood and learn about the marsh, woods and restored prairie, and we may even see deer, fox, mink, and owls! Self-Paced Online ACT Prep ClassACT Prep ClassesThe purpose of the ACT Preparatory Course is to prepare students to take the ACT test. The course includes diagnostic testing, strategic instruction, and applied testing to all areas covered on the ACT. A major objective of the Advantage course is to help students stay abreast of any changes in the constantly evolving ACT test. This is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school class or for students who prefer to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email. Students may also repeat this course at no extra charge.Summer 2026 -
Summer 2026 Adult Lap SwimAquaticsPlease note - Adult Lap Swim will be at Central Early Learning. Please use door #1 to enter the building. No instruction is provided. You should know how to swim. Certain days of the week one lane will be used for small group lessons. Enter door #1 Lap swim is open to adults ages 18. Adult lap swim certain days 1 lane may be used for small group lessons. Please do not register online. Adult lap swim is a year - around program with varying summer hours. Payment per time can be made at the pool. Swim passes are available at the pool. Starting SoonSummer 2026 Shorty Beginner Swim LessonsAquaticsPlease note: No swim class on 6/19/26 & 7/3/26 This class is designed for the 3 - 6 year old who is comfortable being in the water with a teacher and hanging on the side for short periods of time. Skills include blowing bubbles, floats on front & back, submerging, and arms and legs while swimming on front and back. Small class ratio. Children will repeat this class until they can touch the bottom of our pool comfortably (42"at chin). Class may be repeated many times. Skills taught are submerging, floating, front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, diving and treading water. Testing will be done on first day if you are not sure what level.
