Starting SoonGardening for WildlifeHome & GardenThis class will use the principles of Homegrown National Park to promote gardens that provide habitat for wildlife. We will learn to attract butterflies, bees, fireflies, and humans to the garden. The class will teach specifics of how to design a garden, source plants, prep your site, and enjoy the wildlife! At the end of the class we will do an optional potting activity that will allow you to get started with May planting! Join Alex from the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District (MMCD) for an informative presentation about the mosquitoes and ticks we have in St. Louis Park, what makes them thrive, how MMCD works to control them, and why these pests seem to prefer some people over others.
