Camp Move Forward is a mental health education group designed for middle school age students and provides a space for students to explore who they are and gain insight in a supportive and engaging environment. Through interactive activities, discussions, and games, students will build self-esteem, develop social skills, and gain a better understanding of mental health topics such as communication, emotion regulation, personal strengths, and identity. This group encourages self-expression, peer connection, and focuses on building positive coping strategies through fun, structured weekly sessions.

Are you looking for a place to be creative? Do you want to be able to use different types of art supplies and mediums? Come to Middle School Summer Art Club! This will be a space for Middle School students to do art and spend time with their friends. It will be a casual atmosphere, where there will be many different types of art supplies available students. Staff will be able to support students, look up art projects for them to do, and help them reach their creative potential! Middle School Summer Clubs are once a week for 5-weeks from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm at Peter Hobart Elementary, register for the whole session in advance or students can drop-in and pay for one club session at a time.

Join us at the Middle School Summer Sport/Outdoor Games Club if you are looking for a place to play pick-up basketball, soccer, flag football or classic outdoor games like kickball or ga-ga ball! This will be casual games, not competitive, with fun, being active, and hanging out with friends as the goal! Are you looking for a place to play strategy or role playing games this summer? Join the Middle School Summer Strategy/RPG game club! There will be popular strategy games like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride available or students are welcome to direct their own D & D campaign (there will not be campaigns made for students, they will need to make them themselves, we will have dice available).
