Supported Start: Feeding, Bonding and Postpartum Wellness
The first months with a new baby can bring joy, exhaustion, questions, and a lot of adjustment. Families are learning their baby’s cues, figuring out feeding and sleep, recovering from birth, and finding a new rhythm at home.
This 6-week ECFE series offers a supportive space for parents and caregivers to connect with others in the same stage of life. Each week includes parent discussion and practical information about infant feeding, early development, postpartum emotions, stress, soothing, sleep, and responsive caregiving.
Together, we will talk about what is normal, what can feel hard, and when extra support may be helpful. This class is not a replacement for medical, lactation, or mental health care, but it can be a helpful starting place for families who want connection, reassurance, and reliable information during the early postpartum months.
When caregivers feel supported and more confident, they are better able to respond to their baby’s needs and build a strong, connected relationship from the very beginning."
