Introduction to Neurographic Art

“We have to create. It is the only thing louder than destruction.” —Andrea Gibson

Discover a creative and engaging approach to drawing with neurographic art, a technique developed by Pavel Piskarev in 2014. Using simple, flowing lines and shapes, you’ll explore how abstract patterns can emerge through a process-focused and accessible method of art-making. Based on the idea that creative activity can stimulate new neural pathways and support positive changes in thought and behavior, this practice invites you to slow down, focus, and create in a new way. In this session, you’ll be guided step by step through the neurographic process as you create your own artwork. No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Youth 14-17 years old are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
