Susan Lindgren Spotlight Kids 2026-2027

Spotlight Kids is a program run in partnership with Community Education Youth Enrichment Programs Targeted Services Programming. Targeted Services is a program that provides additional learning experiences designed to help student be successful in school by reinforcing their academic skills as well as their social/emotional assets. Participation in this program is optional and each student must have a completed Continuous Learning Plan, more information on this during the registration process. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION about participation in Spotlight Kids

• Regular attendance, a positive attitude, and respectful behavior are required. 
• Spotlight Kids will be supervised by Susan Lindgren teachers and staff.
• We will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:30-4:00 pm beginning on Tuesday, October 27th and runs until late March.
• Students who register must attend the first 4 rehearsals. All participating students will have an opportunity to see all aspects of the theater in the first 2 weeks. Roles will be assigned in November. 
• No rehearsal on November 24th
• No rehearsal on February 4th 
• Families are asked to provide transportation home, pick up time is 4 pm. 
• If students would not be able to participate because they don't have alternative transportation, there will be a bus available for eligible students, please indicate that when registering. This option is for students who would otherwise not be able to attend due to having no other transportation options. 
• Snacks will be provided at each rehearsal. 
• Spotlight Kids will be raising funds through different opportunities, please keep an eye out for more information.
• Parents are encouraged to get involved, there will be multiple opportunities to do so. Please ensure you've been approved as a volunteer through the district volunteer process.
